ConstellationCK has over 55 employees on two continents working diligently almost 24 hours a day. The company was formed in 2009 by two experienced entrepreneurs, Zafar Khan and Carlos Cashman, with the help of an advisory board of experienced entrepreneurs and MIT professors. ConstellationCK is the evolution of a company started by Zafar Khan in 2004, Sofizar Pvt. Ltd., which in four short years became a leader in the online ticket sales industry.
Management
Carlos Cashman, CEO of ConstellationCK
Carlos has worked with numerous successful start-ups as an executive, founder, investor, and advisor in the US and abroad for the last 16 years. He is currently an active angel investor and involved with several charities related to promotion of global peace and education. Carlos serves on the Board of Directors of SecretBuilders.com, an immersive online educational world for children, as well as Asset Performance Technologies, an advanced data and analytics provider for heavy industrial equipment he co-founded in 2003. In 2005 he co-founded CourseAdvisor, a leading Search Engine Marketing firm in the post-secondary education industry which was sold two years later to the Washington Post. CourseAdvisor was designated one of the fastest growing companies in New England and voted one of Boston’s Best Places to Work in 2007. The first company Carlos founded, Opus360, went public on the NASDAQ in 2000 and was sold in 2001 to Artemis International. Zafar founded Sofizar in 2004 which became ConstellationCK in 2009. Prior to Sofizar/ConstellationCK, Zafar was the co-founder of PrimeDTV, an ATSC reference design company based in Shanghai and Anaheim. Zafar worked at Gemstar in Hong Kong and Boston, as well as at Avalon Computers, a high performance computing company. Zafar did his undergraduate at CalTech and graduate coursework at Harvard. He is the recipient of three US and international patents in automated consumer advertising technologies. Zafar is currently on the Central Executive Committee of P@SHA, a national software industry organization in Pakistan. He speaks fluent Urdu, Mandarin Chinese and some Cantonese, and Ukrainian.
Scott Briggs, CPO of ConstellationCK
As Chief Product Officer at ConstellationCK, Scott Briggs is responsible for all product conception, marketing and strategic relationships. Scott joined Constellation CK with over 10 year experience in Product Management and Marketing.Prior to joining ConstellationCK, Scott lead the product team at CourseAdvisor, an online Education Lead Generation company. Prior to joining CourseAdvisor, he was General Manager of Domain Monetization at NameMedia, overseeing product management, partner services, marketing, and reporting for a business that generated 40 million in revenue.
Scott has an extensive background in online marketing. In 2006 he co-founded a search engine marketing business that was able to generate over 1MM in revenue the first year of operation utilizing the power of domain names, search engine optimization and pay per click marketing. Scott holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

William Aulet

Bill Aulet is a highly accomplished business leader with a track record of success over 25 years. He has raised over $100 million in funding for his companies and directly created hundreds of millions of dollars of market value. He started his career with eleven years at IBM, culminating in being named a prestigious MIT Sloan Fellow in 1993. Upon graduation in 1994, Bill became a serial entrepreneur running two MIT spinouts as the President/CEO of both Cambridge Decision Dynamics and then SensAble Technologies. The latter became a 2 time Inc. Magazine 500 Fastest Growing Private Company. With a presence in over twenty countries, SensAble also won over two dozen awards and was featured in Fortune Magazine, BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal and many other publications for its innovative products and strong business foundation.
In 2003, Bill was recruited to help turn around Viisage Technology, a security technology company with a dual focus in the areas of drivers' licenses and facial recognition, as the Chief Financial Officer. At the time of his arrival, Viisage was losing $2.4M per quarter. During his 2 1/2 year tenure, Viisage developed a new strategy, overhauled its operations, made three major acquisitions and executed two major fundraising rounds totaling over $55 million including a highly successful public offering. During this timeframe, the market value for Viisage increased from approximately $50 million to over $500 million.
In October of 2005, Bill was appointed Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the MIT Entrepreneurship Center. In this capacity, Bill has been able to positively apply his knowledge and experience to assist students, new ventures and established firms associated with MIT to become more successful. He has also taught and worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs and executives at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Bill has also been engaged around the world to do onsite in depth work with a full spectrum of companies ranging from single entrepreneurs trying to launch new ventures to large corporations such as Danfoss, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Mobilink and Saudi Aramco to seeking to more effectively achieve their goals through effective use of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and innovation.
Bill also serves on the board directors or advisors of a number of highly innovative companies. Bill conceived, developed and teaches a new graduate level class called "Energy Ventures" at MIT exploring the new brand of entrepreneurship and innovation required to meet the energy challenge.
Bill Aulet graduated in 1980 from Harvard University with honors in engineering. In 1994, Bill earned an MMS degree in business management from MIT Sloan School of Management as a Sloan Fellow. Bill is a former professional basketball player who is married with four sons and lives in Belmont, Massachusetts. Bill is a regular featured speaker at management leadership programs around the world on topics such as entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, entrepreneurial marketing, technology innovation, creating sustainable rapid profitable growth, financing strategies and operational excellence. He is also a contributor as an Xconomist on these subjects to the popular and respected blog. Bill is also the Chairman of the MIT Clean Energy Prize.
Imran Sayeed
Senior Vice President, Global Industry Solutions, Keane Inc.
Imran Sayeed leads all commercial sector industry practices for Keane, a global BPO and IT Services company with ~14,000 professionals worldwide. Industry practices include Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Pharmaceutial, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality & Travel and Energy, and together comprise most of the key business lines and customers for Keane. Sayeed came to Keane through its acquisition of netNumina, a boutique technology strategy and consulting form that he founded and grew from a 15 person startup to one of Computerwold’s Top 100 emerging companies. netNumina won more than 30 of the leading financial services & pharmaceutical institutions in the world as clients, raised more than $25MM from venture capitalists and strategic investors and received more than 20 industry awards for its work.
Sayeed has over fifteen years of experience in software and services. Previously, as a founder of Open Environment, Sayeed helped pioneer multi-tier client server technology, and grew the company from a 10-person startup to an IPO and leadership in the middleware market.
Sayeed has written and spoken extensively in leading industry conferences and trade journals over the last 13 years on entrepreneurship, e-business, financial services, insurance and technology. Sayeed serves on the Advisory Board of several software and private equity companies. Sayeed also holds a patent on technology for providing secure financials transactions over the Internet that he jointly developed with Citigroup. He is currently a visiting faculty member at MIT’s Sloan School of Management where he teaches in the MBA program on technology business strategy.
Sayeed attended Brown University where he majored in Engineering, and Harvard University, where he did post-graduate work in business, marketing and product development.
Ken Morse
Co-founder of 3Com Corporation, Aspen Technology, Inc., and four other startups. He is Founding Managing Director of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center, and Chairman of Entrepreneurship Ventures, Inc. He holds the Chair in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Competitiveness at Delft University of Technology.Morse graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with an S.B. in political science in 1968.
